HIGH SCHOOL EXIT EXAM
The California State Legislature
has passed a law stating that all students, beginning with the year 2001's
ninth graders, must pass The California High School Exit Exam to receive
a high school diploma. Students will be tested in reading, writing,
and mathematics. Students who do not pass the test will not be allowed
to graduate. There will be several chances for students to pass the
